How do I make a selection box

hey,
I was wondering if it was possible to make a click and drag selection box to select multiple actors. I already have attributes for "actor xxx clicked" so all i need is a click and drag box that can change the attributes of all the actor's "clicked" status within it.

    What i mean, is how do I make a box that when you click, it starts one corner of the box, and it expands to the mouse position. When you let go of the mouse the box selects whatever was inside it. I guess I could use that when the actor collides with the box then change the attribute, but I still need to know how to make the box go from point one to point 2... does that make sense?

    I made you a quick demo, im uploading now.
    Edit: reread your post, realized what you wanted wasnt what I made. I made a drop box selection. I will try to make the selection box. Sorry if i got your hopes up.

    :/ no not what i needed, but thanks for the attempt. If this can't be done I might have to change it to just a circle that is a constant size that follows the mouse, kind of like in halo wars.

    Did you look at both scenes in floridagames project?

    I thought you mean like on your desktop, if you click somewhere and drag it makes a square that gets larger as you drag and from the point of the initial click. Thats what the second scene is his project does.
