My eyes finally adjusted to the new forum and now my eyes woke up this morning to a big shock... Help me, I don't feel like I'm at home... I'm in unfamiliar territory...

    I personally just think its a bit to "In your face" Maybe.. make the post boxes bigger and move the ads and stuff here>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
    Over to the left side.. and make the margin smaller...
    Overall despite the endless bugs and glitches that can be smoothed out the new layout has more usability then the old one..
    Ive got some concept art coming to show you what I mean.. So keep an eye on my post :D

    my BIG dislike is the margin widths on the pages …
    think the Table is a fixedWidth and not %

    don't like the Categories expanded on the right …
    do NOT like the Vanilla stuff showing … not relevant to GS Forum (IMO)

    like the big CookBook placement … and Marketplace …
    think I would like a link to GSCookbook channel on youTube there also

    like my Bookmarks listing

    @saladstraightshooter heres my concept art, I own 2 vanilla forums and know personally that vanilla is glitchy but IMO it is the best and most usable forum software...
    @motherhoose You like the concept?

    RED Arrow= Tidy things up a bit with scroll bars
    Purple arrow= Wider margins and bigger boxes
    Green arrow= Again tidying things up again with the marketplace link.. maybe deals..

    However imo I don't like the idea of ads or boxes on the side...
    And no vanilla tweets.. maybe Gs tweets and Facebook update though...
    Even though IMO all the boxes on the side make it look messy..

    i think its great. the forums finally look how they should with a commune this size the links on the size to the cookbook and market place finally givevit the attention they need.

    personally, i think time has come to abolish the "all discussions" view of the forum, there are too many users and posts. with the forum categories on the left hand side, it makes it easy to jump between sections and makes the fourm seem a whole lot more profesional

    I've been unable to login all morning from my iPad, i had to do this over logmein it keeps giving me a error when trying to reach auth.gamesalad.com/auth/login

    Finally able to log in.

    I really like the new look. I love the categories to the right, it's so easy to jump to places instead of going back to the forum's page. Now I wouldn't say I like it more then the previous forum style, but I do think it will take some time to get use to, and your still working out the kinks, but overall I like it. I don't think you should take out the "all discussions" page, I use that everyday.
    I don't go into "Working with GameSalad" or "Announce your game" - it takes to much time. I go the the all discussions page, and everything is there. All new comments, threads etc.

    Is it just me, or is the original post not showing up in the thread. I'm just getting the title of the thread, and the comments after the original post, but not the original posters comments.

    I guess it's just gonna take a little while to get things sorted out.

    I ask one thing, do not remove the all discussions section! I also like the right hand side stuff but feel the text boxes need to be wider.

    Overall though @SaladStraightShooter (with the newness and feeling lost aside) I think it looks a lot more professional, but do agree on what people have said above (particularly with losing the Vanilla stuff). A @GameSalad twitter box may help bring the social elements together if it was colour-coded to match. Some more marketplace advertisements (even though I don't currently sell anything on there) would be nice, like template of the week or something along those lines.

    The all discussions page is way too cluttered now. There are too many people using the forums and new threads are quickly pushed back to pages 2 or 3 without people seeing them. It's just information overlord.

    --suggest that they be moved to top of R column … to free-up some discussion space
