I just created a site for downloading free templates I have made. I currently have only one template there but I will add more soon.

    I realize its free, But half the tutorials on TSB"s site are free and he's not a loud to advertise, So I don't think you can advertise this here on the forum, But however you can PM @saladstraightshooter and hell probably put it in the useful links section,

    @Leonard Maybe read the forum rules on advertising. You cant have links to a site where you sell personal templates, i dont think theres anything wrong with a free template site. As long as he doesnt put things for sale on it.

    how about something that combines some of the exciting templates, like a menu-contols and some kinda game?

    i found 1 from t booth that i like its a slider, it was in his free templates

    nopeFreeCoverFlow1-1.4 its a great menu select, then there is the template in GS for the space shooter, (the 1 with the different controls for your actor, its great to have all the templates but would be nice to be able to do a entire project from star to finish to see how it works, i spent hours reviewing all the templates which was great, then when i went to try to make a simple game i had to i had to start with the control app and manually build the menu, which was great because i learned lots doing it but would of been nice to have them combined into 1 template just to get the flow of things going. any ways hope that helps i checked the templates you have on your site they where cool and useful to. Thanks for taking the time to help people like me out, helps keep the intrest when you get stuck

    Okay. I'll make you a template soon. Btw a good way to merge projects is to use DBA GS Project Merger.

    that was exactly what i was looking for i will dl the project and scene merger tool this week, thats for the help i see that this will save me a tone of time. and agin thanks for the template

    If you're thinking about buying the platinum bundle it would be better to buy resource centre pro. But if you don't need all the tools & templates it's good to buy only those you need.

    yea i was looking at that and there is a lot of stuff in it i don't think i would need so i am going to go for just 1 of the small bundles with he programs i don't think i will need the graphic packs or templates or any of the android stuff. Thanks for the heads up

    @johmulcahy ... kinda thought we could safely discuss 3rd party tools/images/sounds etc and get feedback on if they are worth spending money on? I can see if this thread was opened by the seller ... but when not it can be valuable to see what other members think?!?

    ah … we talk all the time about Photoshop, AI, and etc.
    as @simo103 said tools/images/sounds … some free and some
    things that cost money … even non-GS games … that cost money

    the restrictions on owners of those products advertising on the Forum are valid …

    but, members reviews/opinions on the worth of those products help us all make better purchasing decisions …
    members thoughts/ideas/opinions are what forums are for!

    The issue was, and darren had the same thing, was a free bundle was offered by the seller but people started asking the seller about the paid bundles which could be viewed as advertising. Questions about the paid stuff should be done over pm or email.

    It's a fine line, but to be fair to everyone it has to be followed. I didn't make the rules, I just try to enforce them.
