Is it possible to develop network game with GS?

Hi, GS dudes.
I am wondering if it is possible to develop network (social) game (such as Highnoon, MMORPG, or Bakery story) with GS.
Plus, if yes, do I need to rend or buy expensive server? Or Apple game center is one of the server, so I can use it?
