Why did all of my game files turn into folders?

All of the folders only hold the XML files that I cannot open. How can I get it all back? All the old templates I had to work with are now folders, why?

    This has happened to me before too. Make sure nothing went wrong with your version of gamesalad, or that you even HAVE gamesalad installed. If all fails, I would just re-download gamesalad and see if it still does that.

    Open gamesalad, click file then open from the menu bar at the top, then select the folder to open. Itll turn back into i gamesalad file.

    They aren't going back to the original icons, but the projects do still open! Thanks guys.

    type .gameproj onto the end of the folder name then
