are you sure there being triggered? i had no problem testing with adhoc.

    Hi TSB,

What do you mean by triggered?

The Leaderboard is working good, but not the achievements...
i only have no earned achievements with the "?" picture.
I think that all is good in the itunes connect and project...

PS : i'm in sandbox mode.

TSB, i used items_collected_500 and that work, now you know ;)

ill tell you the issue with that.
from what i understand is the IDS are global so you may use items_collected_500
but now lets say you go to use items_collected_1000 later. it may be used.

buy using com.yourname you make sure that it will not be taken :)
    Ahhh i see...
But how an other developer can use ID on your binary??

+1 to TShirtBooth. He is correct in that following a similar naming convention for all of your Apple facing services makes a lot of sense. For example if your game's bundle id is com.yourcompany.yourgame then you can follow that for leaderboards, achievements and IAP (com.yourgame.yourleaderboard, com.yourgame.yourachievement, com.yourgame.yourinappitem).

In many examples I throw in basic text strings because I do not expect everyone has the experience with Apple's services to know exactly what the above paragraph means. And at the end of the day it is up to the developer and their personal preference and organization.

Though, the naming is not service wide. There are plenty of in app purchase items called "potion" and plenty of leaderboards called "High Scores". The way Apple handles it is per developer. So two of your games cannot share item, leaderboard and achievement names.

So use whatever naming convention works best for the way you like to organize your games.
