Can't change colour of my actor?

Hi, I seem to can't change the colour of my actor

It is black currently and trying to change it to white.
Is it possible to change colours?

    If your art work is black you cannot change its colour as the process is done by reducing each or the rgb channels until you are left with black. If you start with a white actor then you can change it to any colour you like and indeed if you drop each of the rgb channels to 0 then you will be able to get black. Perhaps the easiest course it just to open your actors artwork in some image editing program and invert the image that is currently black and make it white.
