I have been making a lot of sports games lately and for the most part the are side view with ball elevation or any direction but flat/sliding motions.

Is it possible to (example golf) to hit a ball from the bottom of the screen towards the top, showing elevation? I have messed with the paper toss stuff but I need something more from ground to sky to ground.

why dont you create a variable named meters and just multiply the Y pos of the ball by a constant depending on the scale you want. then store the result in the meters variable and just display on screen the meters variable

Yep, it's possible. Here's a game I'm working on. I measure the X position of the ball and convert it to "yards" but as @steve86 said, you could just measure the Y position instead.

So, is there a game or Template out there made with GameSalad that I could look at. I can do the side view elevation and shooting things up into the air with no problems.

Maybe I am just not following. So if I have my iPad in portiat mode on a flat surface, I could launch a ball from the bottom that would rise up in elevation and then decend and land at the top of the pad?

So similar to the side view but vertical?

So you're wanting the ball to start at the bottom of the scene and get larger (appear closer) as it reaches the middle of the scene and then smaller again as it reaches the top of the scene?

How do you do that dotted trajectory?

Yes. Like hitting a golf ball, having it elevate (seem bigger) as it moves away from you and then starts to descend (get smaller) and land.

It would be like a top down view a golf course. My Slide Golf Mini has done well but I was hoping to do a more realist golf game.
