If I download Game Salad Can I use it on a standard Windows XP PC or do I have to have an Apple Mac?

I am just thinking about downloading the basic version of gamesalad but am not sure if it will work on my pc.
I don't want to download it if it won't work but can't find out what systems it works on

    @Finder14 - even if you had a Windows version, you couldn't publish to iOS devices.

    I hate these threads, can't we put a big NOT FOR WINDOWS AND LINUX banner on the homepage. It would get rid of threads like this. :D

    Personally, I think this is clear enough "GameSalad Creator for Mac 0.9.92 beta".

    To be technical You do not need an Apple Mac. Just a machine that runs Mac OSx 10.6 or newer ;)

    the creator cannot tell if apple made the machine or not. but were not gonna spend to much time talking about that here :))
