Could this be the end for GS?

Just came across this article and it made a lot of sense to me (if its true).
Since it would be done by Apple we would probably have access to everything when
building an app. Access to the Microphone, Photo album, etc..
And it would probably also be available for free.

Just wondering.

What article? I bet gamesalad still is easier to learn, have more options and less coding involved. But I can`t find this article.

It's not for games, it's for apps.

This was posted a week or so ago and it's not for games and probably won't even come to fruition as most of Apple's filed patents.

And why would you come to gamesalad forums to go on about the end of gamesalad?

I agree with SSS. Apple tries to patent everything they can in case they can use it in the future. It also looks like it is for apps, not for games so I wouldn't be worried.

This thread is a waste of bits.

Easy App making tools yield apps of lower quality on average since the technical cost of entry is lower. There are enough tools to simplify app creation and GS is the best (my opinion). It strips away that cost of entry and reveals real quality in ideas, polish and execution. But a bunch of junk comes with it :-)

GS have very bright future. When they decided to create lua free engine. I can see one day lots of developer are first suggest GS for game creations. Because its very near to beat corona, unity and lots of other softwares.

I feel proud to be a part of GS community.

    Thanks,
    John

@creativeapps Very near to beat Corona? GS created apps will be faster than Corona apps after the LUA-free build.

I pretty much think GS will soon take over the artistic world after the Lua drop
