add hoc or app store

when you are submitting your game do you have to select "app store" for your provisioning profile... because i have uploaded two games today and one was uploaded by checking "app store" and one was uploaded selecting "add hoc" (only because i didn't feel like making another provision profile) does that matter or not... or should i resubmit my game to apple?

    Ad hoc is for testing purpose, app store is for submitting to apple.

    you must have "app store" if you are submitting to apple

    "ad-hoc" is the provisioning for testing, you do not submit this to appl,e.. (it will not allow you to)
