Hey GS community. Got a problem I'm hoping someone can help with.

I have a game that, when I test on my android phone, works smashingly! However, when I test on an iOS device it never finishes loading.

I thought this may be a viewer issue so I tried to run an adhoc and wouldn't you know it, same problem.

Any one have any thoughts or suggestions for me? This game is almost publishable.

Also, thought I should mention, other games and templates load up and play fine on my iOS devices, just this one. :(

@macewan - I'm actually going to be grabbing that prior to release, Maybe I should give it a look sooner rather than later.

@uptimistik - On any iOS device it just sticks on the loading wheel and a black screen. Music plays though, I guess that's something...

When you say it does not finish loading, what happens? Is it just a blank screen ?

@jonmulcahy - Yup, just a black screen, music playing, and the purple pinwheel spinning, ever mocking me! :)

I've even left it on my desk while I went and did a couple things around the house. Came back 20 mins. later; still loading.

You might have a bad rule, try switching that initial scene with a different one and see if it works

@jonmulcahy - Should have mentioned, tried that. Had a new scene before my main. And yup, it loaded fine. When I tapped to go to the main scene, eternal loading. I honestly don't know what I did to it.

In hindsight, GS adding a "don't load for iOS" rule, was not very clever. ( j/k :P )

Usual culprits are bad values in the expression editor, removing attributes that were in the expression editor.

Make a backup of your game, and then start removing actors 1 at a time until it loads.

@jonmulcahy - *facepalm of course, I'll try that!

The problem was my image naming conventions. Once they were corrected the game ran fine.
