Hey All,
I personally won't be entering this because I can't game for 26 hrs straight, Well I know of these Game Jam's that make you build game's straight for 24hs.. So I would say many of you could beat this record :)

How would you like to see your name in the Guinness Book of World Records? It’d be pretty cool, right? What if we throw in up to $50,000* in cash prizes and some cool swag? Qualcomm and its Snapdragon™ processors are giving you the chance to be a part of history and potentially walk away with pockets full of cash and hands full of goodies through the Snapdragon Gaming World Record Challenge taking place at E3 in Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 5 and Wednesday, June 6. The record? Longest Video Games Marathon on a Tablet.

    That can't be healthy. ;)
During the totb contest I worked on for over 36 hours straight. I slept for 2 days afterwards.

Yeah, Being on a screen for over 20 hrs is supposed to be bad for your brain if your not used to be doing it..

It wasn't a brain thing... The guy got blood clots from sitting too long. Same thing can happen on long flights (10+ hours).

I dunno, did many stints of days without sleep when in the service.
When I had free time I did go on some Warhawk binges...lol (not that long though!). I do know of some of those Warhawkers that easily put in that much time (I kid you not, I saw it in their play stats), so finding someone to game for 26 hours won't be that hard. Maybe some of those WoW players.

Well, I've been married for like 13 or 14 years so there's no way. :-)

About 10 Years ago my boss dumped a project on me that I had never even seem because he had the flu. It was a Monday. It had a Friday 8 pm deadline. No work had been done. Mon. thru Wed. I worked 16 hour days. Then on Thurs. I got in at 8 a.m. and did not leave until I got the project out the door at 8 p.m. on Friday, 36 hours later. I was so dang tired I actually could not sleep that night. Crazy. I think now I might actually die if I tried that. Never again.
