am i able to update to the newest version of xcode?

i saw a post a while back stating that if i upgrade xcode to 4.3 there will be problems but i need it to use gs viewer but im not sure if this problem was fixed.

    there are no problems with GameSalad and xcode 4.3 but you can only upgrade to it if you have OS X Lion.

    I am still using Xcode 4.2 in my projects but today I am helping a friend of mine, who is new into the program, to install Gamesalad + Xcode + all the certificates in his computer and I would like to know if we still need to install manually the components on this post:

    May be a better idea just install Xcode 4.2? He is running Lion.
