does updating an iOS app make it appear in "New Releases"

any thoughts on this?

if i push a new update to my existing app, will it appear in "New Releases"?

    I think somebody said a while back that it does NOT push it in the New Releases section...Could be wrong..

    No, updates do not appear on the new release list. There was a bug on Apple side some months ago that was pushing updates on the new release list but luckily it was fixed.
