Will my Kindle Fire app properly scale to fit a phone screen as well?

Hi everyone,

I just finished building an app for Kindle Fire, and I am wondering if it will scale properly to run on phones as well. Will it only be available for Kindle, or will phone users be able to get it also?

    Thanks for the reply TSB. I also would imagine it scales it for other phones as well as the kindle. I am going to go ahead and upload my app.

    Yes, android apps are 'universal'. Publish once and it scales to all. It's nice, but you can have some distortion. Most android users don't seem to care tho, it's never come up in any reviews I've received.

    If Android apps are somewhat "universal" what is the ideal resolution to use when building the app? I suspect 1024x700?

    I think 1024x600? That's what the kindle is at least

    I targeted the kindle fire and let everything else just scale.
