iOS viewer - erratic behaviour

Hey guys, I'm nearly done with my game and I loaded it onto my ipod touch using the iOS viewer. Having tested the full game about 10 times, I've noticed that out of those 10 tests, about 5 of them had strange behaviors like actors not spawning, game not pausing etc. But the other half of the time, it behaves perfectly without any errors. I'm just wondering as to why this might be happening.

Am I right in saying that the iOS viewer doesn't actually copy the game onto the device rather it establishes a remote connection and acts like a middleman between the device and the computer? I'm thinking of publishing the ad hoc version and try it to see if the errors persist (I'll have to buy the pro account but was a bit disappointed with the reliability of the viewer and am wondering if I purchase the pro version and the errors are not gone then all the work I did will be in vain :( and obviously the errors are not under my control because the game clearly works flawlessly half the times)

So, has anyone encountered issues with the viewer before and if yes, were these issues gone once you published the game?

I also tried using the android viewer and noticed the same reliability issues

    Wow... You are quick. :)

    1. The GS Viewer is fairly reliable, if you got these kind of issues, my first guess will be that it is not the viewer
    2. You do not need a pro account for an Ad Hoc build
    3.
obviously the errors are not under my control because the game clearly works flawlessly half the times
Sorry, working half of the time cannot be called flawlessly, it does not sounds like a Viewer issue.
    4. Issues that you see in the Viewer are not likely to go away once you publish

Thanks, I'll do further testing and iron out the bugs

    That's a relief!

    No worries

Thanks for the tip. I spent nearly 100 hours in the past week to get to this point and I thought I got it all done lol but obviously I need to sort it all out.
