Gamesalad on Mac constant crash

Hey every one I have a quick question which is really bugging me when you guys are developing games on your Mac does the creator crash Constantly.
It can't be my computer because it's a iMac 27 inch with 8 gb ram and 1 tb hard drive.
I am constantly losing work because of a saving issue (my fault I forget to save) but I was wandering does it ever crash for you if so how often

When GS starts to crash delete it and reinstall it. This usually works for me.

GS is still in beta, and has gotten 1000x better over the years. Back in 2010 you would have or save and restart every 5-10 min before it would slow down and stop being useful
