HELP! how to remove last letter from a text attribute?

i have a game variable, it's called "computer"

how do i remove the last letter using change attribute?

it must be able to do

compute
comput
compu
comp
com
co
c

    You can't. The only way would by using tables and storing all the variables of the word and work from that.

    you could as well use a table, put each word in a cell and then reference to it...
