Not sure about the iads problem, but it sounds like your image files aren't large enough for retina resolution. Creator reduces the files for you, so if you are using RI, then you HAVE to use the large graphics or else it will show up incredibly blurry on the ipad and ipad 2.

I've found that the RI has worked very nicely in 0.9.94 except for the icon.

Have you tried increasing your image files by 200% of what they are now?

are your image dimensions divisible by 2 and then 2 again without leaving any .x

    I.E
    a 200x200 image is fine
a 205x205 image WILL look blurred out using RI on the device using the lower res images (i.e. your ipad2) because 205/2 = 102.5...and you can't have 1/2 a pixel in the real world.

also a 206x206 will look blurred, because 206/2=103, which is fine, but the odd number of pixels, rather than even can -sometimes- make things blur.

208x200, or 208x208 etc will be fine

just something to bear in mind if you haven't already

This is how it works for iPhone RI...so I assume the same for iPad RI. As a rule of thumb, I always make sure my image's X and Y dimensions (the image is the important thing, not your actor btw) are divisible by 4.

I will confirm all this tonight, however my game doesn't look that bad on the iPad. I mean it's not razor sharp like angry birds retina is but it's still nice looking....
