Hey guys,

I'm about to submit Frozen Finder to the Kindle, but I am getting an error when I publish.
It says this:

"There was an error signing the APK. The troubleshooter will be launched."

When it opens the trouble shooting page, under "APK to Sign" it says "Not an APK!"

Any idea what's going on?
It was working before, I didn't change anything. Literally, I published 5 minutes before this started happening.

I tried publishing Penguin Pounce to android to see if that worked, and it did. So it must be a problem within Frozen Finder.

Any idea?

Thanks for any and all help.
Braydon

the only thing I can think of is double check that your keystone is correct. try generating new one?

also, try uploading / publishing it as a new game, not an existing one.

@jonmulcahy - I just tested it again this morning.
It will publish the game if you DONT change the GameSalad Splash screen. If you change it to a custom image, it will not sign the APK for some reason.

@SaladStraightShooter might want to look this up.

    Hey guys,

I found the problem. Its pretty dumb, but I'll post it anyway for those who have this problem in the future.

I changed the custom splash screen image to a black background. I had the wrong size, I believe. This was the problem. When I put the correct picture size in, it corrected itself and published like it normally would. I believe the creator use to tell you what size of a picture to put in, but it did not imform me this time. I found my old custom image, and looked at the size of at to correct my new splash screen image.

Hope this helps someone in the future!

Thanks @SaladStraightShooter for taking time to look into this.
