Problem with movement
Hello,
I just started developing my first game with game salad, but I encountered a problem.
I made a rule so that when I click somewhere on the screen my actor moves there.
However when I pressed the preview button to see if it worked, it does in fact work, but my actor becomes much bigger !!
Explanation: My actor have a size of 30x30 and when I click on the screen to make him move, he moves there but his size becomes 100x100. And then it keeps that size.
Anyone knows what i'm talking about? or does anyone please have a solution ?
Thanks

Hi @sackboy1596
There is absolutely no way that your actor can change size in runtime without a rule you've made telling it to do that; you surely must have a behaviour somewhere, either changing attributes its width and height, interpolate or grow behaviour...
For interest, does the actor gradually get larger up to the 100 x 100 or just changes to the new size when you click on the screen to make it move?
thanks for your reply.
I've checked everywhere there is no rule that has to do anything with the size...
To answer your question it changes directly to the new size when I click on the screen.
I really don't know what to do
Thanks
Have you set the default size for the actor to 30x30? You could also enforce the size of the actar by creating a rule that changes the X and Y size attributes on initialisating of the actor. It doesn't make sense that this would 'just' happen, though.
I just solved the problem !!
I created a rule for my actor that changes the attribute, changes the width to 30, and the same for the height. That's solved my problem, my actor is keeping it's size when I move it.
Thats still strange I think cause the default size of my actor was 30x30, but anyway now it's solved
Thanks for your help
