hi,
i update my iphone to ios5.1.1. and i use Xcode 4.2 when i click run in Xcode display this message "No provisioned iOS devices are available with a compatible iOS version. Connect an iOS device with a recent enough version of iOS to run your application or choose an iOS simulator as the destination."

Now that you have that version of ios you need lion and the latest version of Xcode which only runs on lion.
