I made a free version of my game A Long Way Home. It's the first 10 levels out of 100, and it's currently available on the google market. It should be coming to the Nook and Kindle/Amazon App Store later this month

It's also in review for the iPad with In App Purchase to unlock the rest of the levels.

If you've got an android device, mind giving it an install / rating? I'm also curious to know how it runs since I've only tested on a kindle fire.

    Just got word that Amazon has approved the game for inclusion in the Amazon App Store & on the Kindle Fire. I've already downloaded and installed it from the app store on the kindle. Amazon has seriously improved their approval time, it used to be like 2 weeks to get on the store, and another week for the kindle fire. this was a few days, and the same day for the fire.

    I don't have an Android device but good luck with this. I bought it for OS and loved it.

    Thanks guys, and thanks to gamesalad I was able to convert the full version of my game to run ith iAP for a free demo in an evening!

    For droid, it's just the first 10 levels then it brings you to purchase page for the game on each respective app store. Hopefully the nook version is approved today.

    I tried it on my samsung galaxy gio.. but sorry it lagged too much to play :( i tried the first level but the game just pauses itself :S I think it's my bad mobile's fault :P

    Two fingers on the screen initiates the pause, that's probably what was happening

    Apple rejected it because they were unable to find the restore purchases button. I've appealed the rejection, hopefully it gets fixed soon.

    Terrible :) but I have not done any marketing yet. I tried setting up a campaign on admob but it took 2 weeks for them to approve it.

    I'm waitin for the iOS version to gt approved so I can send out one press release saying its available everywhere.

    A Long Way Home Free has just been approved for the iPad. It's available now in the App Store under new releases. It's got pretty sweet placement too, number 2 for today.

    If you have an iPad, please give it a download today, I'd like to try and boost those initial download numbers to see if it helps.

    As of this morning it's hit the following ranks in the free sections:

    1 in Games/Arcade in Ukraine
    4 in Games overall in Ukraine
    9 in Apps overall in Ukraine

    It's in the top 500 in a bunch of stores, but those are the only notable ones.

    Just got todays reports, I'm seeing about a 1% conversion rate right now. I had a press release go out today, so I'll see if that helps.
