    Ask yourself if that is really how you want to present yourself to your potential customers (as a spammer).

    There is no free lunch. Marketing falls into 2 categories - advertising or community building.
    The first is going to cost you money (running any kind of successful campaign is going cost more than your app will make - statistically speaking). The latter is going to take a lot of time and hard work.

    You don't see Popcap or Halfbrick posting links to their games on celebrity facebook pages do you?
