What programs are needed to make your own template according to the game view in your mind?

    I"m a newbie so this may not be right but I thought that a template was simply a basic Game Salad version of your game you created that would include most, if not all, of the working "pieces" that you could share with someone to build on or pick from to make their own game. A few are given away; most are sold. For, instance, one I"ve seen is a guy selling a stunt cycle template. All you needed to make the stunt cyclist move and jump were there but very few levels included. Some templates include art work I"ve noticed while others don't. I"m sure other more experienced users will chime in soon.
