on landscape, is "x" or "y" up and down

Sorry, a basic question. I always get confused.

On landscape, is "x" or "y" up and down?

    Not to be rude but....that is so easy to check up on instead of asking on the forum.
    But X is horizontal and Y is vertical on both landscape and portrait

    Yeah, X is always left and right, and Y is always up and down, no matter what orientation.
