What determines how many stars you have on the forums?

Hello Everyone,

I've been taking a break with GS for a while (after a bug from GS crashed my game...), and have started coming back on the forums a little bit. I got a message that said I was promoted to veteran developer or something? What makes "rank up" or gain more stars?

    It's based off of badges and the system ranking here - eg awesomes, likes etc

    I think SaladStraightShooter mentioned in another thread that it's based on your total points.
