Hey guys, I am making an iPad version of my new game, and hear you need to account for all orientations, so is there a way to simulate the iPad's rotation inside gamesalad? can I use the iPad simulator? or do i need to own an iPad in order to test autorotation. Thanks!

    Hi there.
Well, you can use the iPad simulator in Xcode. There you can choose the orientation of the device.

yeah but how would I have my game on the simulator? It's not an xcode project, it's a gamesalad project

Using the GameSalad Viewer for the iPad you can set the target to the Simulator.

also, it is not required to account for ALL 4 locations, but you do need to account for both sides of one orientation.

i.e. landscape it must work with the home button on either left or right, or if you have a portrait game, it must work with the home button on either the top or the bottom.

Some games just don't lend themselves to all 4, it wouldn't make sense.
