New Here: how to publish on Ipad/iphone, if I am working on Windows?

Hi

I am new here and I found Game Salad to be much better than Game Maker feature wise.

I can get a developer license but to publish on iphone, do I need to have a mac, in order to apply the developer code and all?

I am planning to buy a mini-mac but till then any way I can do this on windows without spending 1000 dollars on mac?

I better spend that money on upgrading to GS pro and on the developer license.

Sunny

You need a Mac to publish to apple hardware as Apple requires you to have Xcode as it handles the certificates to validate your app.

What about a virtual mac for time being? Will that work for the start till I get the Mac, we do not really find mac in our city, maybe one or two shop selling it.

Don't know if you can run Xcode on a virtual Mac. If you order a Mac from apple online it will come in a few days.

I am not in US, so importing from US not an option. Xcode works in V Mac, but not sure how the license registration will be done when compiling.

does Xcode reads the Mac hardware code and all while submitting it to the Appstore?
