Invisible collision actors vs actors that collide that contain art?
Hey gs community,
I wa wondering what is better for performance, invisible actors that act as collision such as the GS platformer template or creating separate actors for all my platforms and walls?

better to use tiles, so one graphic gets repeated, this way the memory used will be less. Make that tile an actor and make player collide with it. The GS screen cannot be stretched I think like flash or other game engines, so to visually placing invisible actors can be troublesome, unless you bind the xy positions of invisible actors to the tile through code. Instead of extra lines of code, better use tile graphics as actor and repeat them, say floor can have one kind of tiles, walls second kind of style.
