Win8 and OpenURL

So I've been testing some Win8 builds, and I've found some strange behavior. when I trigger the open URL behavior, nothing seems to happen. but if i manually switch to IE, it loads the page.

anyone else test this yet?

    did some more testing.

    load the app
    click the button
    wait 10 seconds
    IE loads the page

    in another app, I waited 30 seconds and nothing loaded.
