Hi guys, I click on a link in my application profile and the gamesalad was launched. I was stuck in this App signing settings and i waited for quite long and nothing appears. The next button was disabled also. What should I do?

    What version are you using?
    Can you post a screenshot?

I'm not sure what you are doing based on the description

You can't sign a win8 app on a Mac, are you sure that's what you are trying to do? All you do is download the win8 zip file, it doesn't open GS at all.

This is a quote from SaladStraightShooter Head Chef

" Mac users will also be able to publish directly to the Win8 Store even if they do not have a computer running Windows, though testing will require a Windows device. "

So why I can't sign a app on a mac? I have the same issue, still no next button available.

Same issue here... Win 8 compilation freeze on: "App Signing Settings", also when i generate the app, i have to refresh the browser to phisically start the download process, it does not refresh by itself.

@SaladStraightShooter do not you think it is necessary to include the procedure of publication in the cookbook?

I'm just getting into gear for Win 8 and Android publishing - the Android cookbook stuff is really helpful, but can't find anything for Windows 8 publishing.

Which makes it more than just a bit of a headache!

Hey @quantumsheep I found this forum post that has a PDF that might be helpful. I haven't started publishing to Windows yet, but it looks like it will be useful......

@quantumsheep this is from another thread.
Second post is a very good documentation on Windows 8 publishing... http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/49622/windows-8-app-signing

And for package i.d. @jonmulcahy saves the day in this second post... http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/49323/introducing-windows-8-and-windows-store-support/p5
The two posts really helped me understand windows 8 publishing and more importantly testing. Publishing is basically like everything else. And as previously stated, a windows machine is not required to publish. Only to actually test.

During the "Usage" stage of the PDF guide in order to try an AdHoc test.

If anyone gets the following error when you put in the key "xxx":

"Could not find the file 'xxxCertificate.cer'

Try a reinstall of the Windows 8 SDK and/or Visual Studio 2012 Express

This solved the issue for me.

I know have the problem where the app signer says 'Could not find the file 'mygreatgamePFX.pfx'
