Hey guys, i'm playing around with the idea of an alarm clock app. Would this be possible? Can gamesalad access the actual time? Basic functionality would be to set the wake up time at night and then have the alarm sound at that time in the morning. Thanks for any input on this....I really appreciate it!

No not really. You can access the device time but you cannot make the app run in the background. So unless you keep the app open you will miss your alarm.

    Hi,

I played with this idea a while ago. Bottom line - Probably not.
The reason is because you would need to keep the iPhone and app on all night. If you didn't, the app wouldn't sound the alarm. But yes, you access the iPhone clock as well as the date and day.

    Hope this helps.

EDIT: Darn, @tenrdrmer beat me to it. :D
