    what do you mean?
RI is for Apple devices only, everything else ignores it.

How are you getting your app on your iPad? You need a Mac to build for iOS

So what's the problem? You won't be able to test RI until you publish an adhoc build and test on a device.

We are gonna need some actual information about whats going on before anyone is going to be able to offer help. We cannot guess. and as jon has mentioned. You won't be able to test RI until its on a Retina Enabled device. So how are you determining that it is not working. all the details please.

i can activate the RI button when i start a new project for the iphone, but the image (960x640) is still double the size on my project (this image is too big for the display - so the resolution of my project is still 320x480)
This means, that the RI is not working because 960x640 is the resolution of the iPhone 4 and 4s but the project with RI enabled is still the resolution of the 3gs (320x480).
Hope you understand what the problem is.

You must have RI checked before you import any images. The GS project will be shown as non retina as your display is not a retina display when you export and put app on a retina device it will double the size. Once res ind is checked any image you import will be half the size.

i have checked the RI first when i created a new project and later imported the images but still not works the images are too big with a resolution of the images at 960x640

RI is more than likely just not working right for Windows Creator. Just shrink down your actors and move on. Report the issue to Support but the resizing the actor to half the image is a perk. it doesn't mean RI won't work when it gets to the device and you have sizes your actors correctly.

thanks i had expected that this is a generally issure because i have played some days now with this new windows creator and have seen that there are a loooot of problems which needs to get fixed. i don´t know if the RI works on devices but i don´t think. i will wait for the next update maybe some of this issure´s get fixed.
Thanks to everybody for helping me.
