Gamesalad Crashe

Hey everyone, I took a gamesalad template I had on my mac and attempted to edit it on the PC, windows version. When I hit build, Gamesalad crashed. The template ran fine on the mac, what should I do?


Furthermore I have a template that is for ipad, and I want to scale it down to iphone, if possible. Is that possible?

    Stick with developing on a Mac is my advice.

    DBA Apps makes a utility for scaling apps from ipad>iphone and iphone>ipad. There are many posts about ways to scale between devices do a search for scaling apps.

    okay i guess i will, DBAs cost money right? I dont have money;/ lol

    If you cannot afford it then do it manually. Open the project in GS and resize the stage size and then manually move your objects and scale any graphics as required.
    If you are using any rules based on X,Y values or sizes you will need to proportionally change these also.
    Look up the forum as suggested as there are other topics on how you can make changes more easily....or methods that may help next time you develop.

    okay, all i was really asking if there was an automatic way to do it. it shouldnt be too difficult to do it manually

    Search in the forum as some smart cookies have come up with semi-automatic solutions.
