testing on the Kindle Fire

So... I have been at this for about an hour.. I am not sure what I am doing wrong... but I cannot get the viewer installed on my kindle fire... Is it even possible to install the viewer on the Kindle Fire? The only option I see is for Android and it seems like there are differences between the Kindle fire and a standard android device. I just want to test my APK on my kindle fire.. Any ideas? I have been through the GS Cookbook on this about 20 time now and I can't get it to work. Are there any other videos or tutorials? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

    Yeah you just install the android viewer. Just set the kindle in its settings to install apps from unknown sources.

    Then email the apk to yourself and open it on the kindle. It will install.

    I just loaded the APK through a file loader on the kindle fire and I got it to work.... So much easier then the GS cookbook way.... took me 3 minutes.
