Do you HAVE to use tables for in-app purchases?

As the title says. Can I just put the product ID shown on iTunes connect, link it to an attribute and be done with it? Do you need to set up a table?

    also, how would one be able to display the price of an in-app purchase? the price variates throughout the world...

    why do you need table for in app purchase again? I use it but for special reasons. but you wouldn't normally.

    oh i don't know, the tutorial on the cookbook used tables.

    You do not need tables for IAP.
