Scene Editor doesn't refresh until I move the mouse wheel

What's up with that?

Why doesn't the scene just display immediately, like it always has?

    I sometimes also get that problem. It would be nice to why this is happening.

    I've reported it as a bug through the official channel. Hopefully they fix it for the next release.
