Sharing game salad project files

Hi Folks,

I recently started using Gamesalad. I and one of my teammates registered on Gamesalad using our own email ids. We both started working on different parts of the same project. Now we want to be able to share our projects.
My teammate sent over his project folder. But I am not able to open that folder in gamesalad client on my laptop.
Is there is a standard way to share project files within a team?

Any help is really appreciated. Thanks!

Amit

Did you compress the file into a .zip first?

Yes. My friend compressed it to zip and mailed it to me.

Does compressing the project folder mess it up in some way? I can try uploading it to dropbox as well.

No compressing doesn't mess it up, Try DB, are you both Mac?

Ok we will try DB as well. My friend uses a windows and I am on a mac. Do you think that might be an issue?

Yep, That could be the issue, However I couldn't be too sure, Perhaps you should install a virtual client for windows on your mac to test it? - There are loads of free ones out there like VMware

    Hope this helps,

Have your friend export the game from his Windows Creator. It will zip it up and then he can send it to you. Should solve the problem.
Watch this (Mac to Windows, Windows to Mac at the end).
