I purchased a template and this will be my first one of many (i hope) to complete and publish. In the template there is a cash shop to buy a continue and the costs associated with it are an ingame currency, I am changing the ingame currency to something more appropriate to make it so it is unique and publishable. My question is in regards to the cash shop, can I change the continue to cost real money or a different currency in which has to be purchased for real money. Also I was hoping to add different Actors to the cash shop which if purchased would change the main players appearance and make them behave differently. If someone can give me some guidance on how to set that up if possible? I really appreciate it. If this is information that may require more than a little free advice from the forums please let me know. Thanks again for your assistance.

@mburdish, you could use the In-App Purchase behavior available in GameSalad Pro. This would only work for real money and it would cost you $299 a year or for the student discount $150 a year.

    Cheers,

Thanks, is it easy to do? I am awaiting my graphics and my main concern is it easy to have the main actor change by making an ingame purchase?

It all depends on your coding. It can be done by checking which the attribute that is changed during the iAP process. Let's say you have 5 appearance or characters that can be purchased. then create 5 attributes i.e char1 , char2, char3, char4 & char5. You will also need 5 iAP each changing those attribute after the purchase. So let's say you purchased char1, after iAP process the char1 attribute will be changed to true , in your conditions for check your character probably have when char1 is true change character to char1 or if char2 is true change character t char2.. and so on.
