Windows Store vs. Windows Phone Store

Just to clarify, these are in fact two different stores which need two different developer accounts right?

Also, which one are people publishing to when they mention the windows store?

Any info to clarify these 2 stores is greatly appreciated.

    You will need 2 different account, one for the Windows Store (for Windows 8 Apps) and one for Windows Phone.

    Windows Store, people are most likely referring to the Windows 8 App Store.

    yes, windows 8 app store, we can't publish to windows phone store (yet)
