How to give away paid ipad games to others?

I understand I get 50 apple promo codes, but what if I wish to give more codes to people who are funding me for game in some other way say like kickstarter.

if I have more than 50 members funding me, I will have to keep updating my game to get new codes?

once the game is updated, what happens to previous codes? do they continue to work or get obsolete?

    I'm fairly certain promo codes do eventually expire. If you are giving away free games as part of a fundraising activity, you should probably gift the game, so that they can be ensured of having it permanently.

    is there any limit on gifting the game? I will have buy my own app to gift?

    I think promo codes expire 30 days after requesting them and the only way to get more is via an update. There is no limit to how many times you gift an app since you are paying for that.

    Or just make it free for a week only and then make it paid, a week would be enough time for the people that are funding you

    Yes, I can try that but I already have a free version of the game, so will apple allow pro going free as well?

    apple wont care once the app is submitted. changed the price is done by you at will.
