How Does A Endless Runner Work?

Which way would be better for an endless runner?

1. A super long scene (50,000 pixel width) with pre-arranged artwork and a tiled background
or
2. A standard size screen with moving artwork the player has to dodge

Or is there a better, more efficient way to make an endless runner?

Get some template if you can, I was trying to make the game never loaded on the device. So had to restart from scratch and change the whole concept. It's very difficult to scroll the background without spawning and spawning causes serious lags if run for 5 to 10 minutes.

Could You Do A Spawn Actor At Random Height (Ex. 50-190) Every x Amount Of Seconds, Make It Move To The Left, Then When It Overlaps With The End Destroy it?

Spawning and destroying will lag on device. Do not use it.

when actor self.position.x is less than 0
    move self.position.x to 480
    change self.height to XXXX
    change self.width to XXXX
    self.image to XXXX

if you do the above, you can change the size and shape of images so the platforms seem different every time they move across the scene.

I'd do it with tables, but there are many ways to do it.
