Hi and welcome to the Forums. For sounds and music, check out the GS Marketplace (button at top of this page); or simply google copyright-free music, copyright-free sounds, free sounds, free music, free sound effects, etc - you'll get a ton and a half sites to check out.

You could always buy some of envato's marketplaces http://envato.com or for free ones try dig.cc mixter (Google it) Hope this helps :)

I've used freesound.org, and a few pay sites I've found.

Hi, if you use a Mac, the best (or one of the best) music programs (a relatively cheap sequencer) is GarageBand. It's great for making music with loops or recording instrument into it.

** (Things have come a long way since the first sequencer I used in the 80's; it was called Pro 16 on a Commodore 64.... anyone else remember/used it?)

    Photobucket

For making your own sound effects, you can perhaps buy a microphone and record stuff into the Mac, then alter the sound with filters, effects, etc., in GarageBand....or simply use effects and filters on existing sounds.... hope that helps.

That's pretty cool. It's the web version of cfxr. You can download a standalone app of this as well for your desktop.
