Application failed codesign verification

in Working with GS (Mac)
So just tried uploading my app and got this
"Application failed codesign verification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an iphone distribution certificate."

As far as I know I have done everything correct, what am I missing here?

    WELL managed to sort out that issue, I have been using development distribution instead of distribution. what a silly aha

    how do i check which profile you are using? if i only have development profile set up, and no distribution profile, does it work for just testing on my device?

    @dtt yes development profiles are for signing apps to test on your device. Distribution profiles are for signing the app you will submit to the App Store.

    Are you trying to do an adhoc or put your app on App Store? Contact apple developer support and they will help you setup your keychain and Xcode properly. As an apple developer this support is free so give them a call.
