IP for GS games?

Who owns the Intellectual Property behind GameSalad games? Does the developer or GameSalad? Is it possible for a developer to get official copyright protection for a particular arrangement of things in or project file for GameSalad if not the source code?

    You own all copyrights for your games (there are some exceptions if someone else make graphics for you, etc., but they depends on your agreements with outside people).

    You own the rights to anything you create in GameSalad. You do not have access to the source code. The act of publishing a game creates a copyright for you. I know it doesn't answer everything you've asked, but hopefully it helps some.
