Ads

Hello everyone. As a bit of a pre-emptive action, I was curious to know how the ads GameSalad will build into my app will affect it since I'm not yet a pro member. Once I can afford to throw away $300 on it, then I'll immediately remove the ads.

    That's correct - when you become a Pro member, you have th ability to turn off the playhaven start up ads. You could also enable playhaven in our game, but get the income from it. You also have iAds to consider. :)

    Just to make sure I understand you correctly, even if I'm not yet a pro member, my published applications will not be plastered with ads against my will? I just know that I would personally be annoyed if I paid for an app and there were still a lot of ads in there.

    There will be a single "More Games" button on the splash screen, and that's it.

    What SSS is saying is that you will only have a "more games" screen at the beginning of your game, which in a sense is like an ad, but you won't have anything more besides that during your game, ect.

    And just for a third opinion :D

    There is only a more games button ad at the start.
