Device Testing and Speed

Hi all,

I've noticed in my game when I am testing on my device (iPhone 4) that if I test the game after already loading it to the phone before (going through "Recent Games") that it tends to slow down after a while.

However, when I test it on the phone directly while GameSalad on my computer is still running, it is not slowing down.

Can anyone tell me which way of testing the game is more accurate to how it will run once it is published (Recent Games or directly testing)?

Thanks,

SC

The best way to see how your app will run in the real world is actually by doing an ad hoc build.

Thanks, I just found the instructional video on how to do this, I just thought device testing was the closest.

An adhoc is device testing in it's purest form. The viewer is an emulator of sorts and an adhoc is the apps running straight on the iOS.
