    One quick remark on this unfinished work-in-progress: I would suggest using better colours for the highlights and shadows. Looking at your layers I can see shapes created for the shading but in the combined image the colours are too similar to really show. I would also try and keep the outline more consistent or use it to create depth but not just 'randomly' make it thicker or thinner. Good luck!
